Summers are always harsh for me personally! Thankfully, Hyderabad is still doing the cool so that keeps me happy, both financially and emotionally. But, I am sure there are different places where the scorching heat is beating down upon you and you are trying to battle the sweat and exhaustion that comes as an unpleasant side-effect. Ayurveda insists on keeping our diets light for summers. Too much spicy, oily foods are discouraged. So, what steps can we take to keep our body cool in summers.
Hydrate a lot!!
The water in your body would be constantly drying thanks to the air conditioning or outside under the sun so you need to keep drinking water. Go a step ahead, and use lemon slices and cucumber slices to flavor your water. Herbal teas and detox drinks are always a part of the list. I like to have a lot of fruit juices sans the sugar and with the fibre. Having coriander juice is a good detox recipe to cleanse your entire system. Also, remember to avoid ice-cold drinks and water which in turn increase your body’s heat; though are satisfying for the palate.
Lighten up your diet
Just like drinking water is important, foods you eat must be lighter too. Eat lot of salads instead of heavy curries. Soups sound good but not hot but rather at a warmer temperature. Avoid a lot of spice and fats in your food. They make your body feel heavy and greasy. Similarly, avoid garlic and onion, pickles and even eggs for that matter. They all contribute to increasing your body temperature internally. Sweat as much as possible instead. Go easy on salty foods. They can make you dehydrated from inside.

Go for the Champi!!
Did you know the real reason for a body or head massage is to cool it down. Especially when it comes to the head, the constant use of brain and the eyes heat up the area, and a massage is the best way to remove that heat and cool down the brain. That is why a massage feels so relaxing. So, make sure you get the head massage done at least once a week using any cooling oil of your choice or just the regular hair oil.
Be intelligent about your exercises
Sweating it out in summers feels like a gruelling session than a fun one with the sun beating on your head even at 8 AM in the morning. Either get up early to sync up with the sun rise (I know it is easier said than done) or schedule your workouts early in the evening. But, change your workout rhythm according to the time you fix it up for. Choose cooling yoga poses rather than power yoga and switch to swimming or cycling instead of spending the time in gym. See what works best for you but remember the switch is good for your endurance levels as well.

Yoga is an integral part of Ayurveda https://siddhiyoga.online/courses/ayurveda-certification-course , and it is extremely important because it focuses not only on building strength in your body, but also on the integrity of the mind and body. Consistent yoga practice allows you to spend more time “inside” your parasympathetic nervous system, not just “inside” your sympathetic nervous system
Yoga’s exercise can help improve a person’s mental well-being. “Regular yoga practise creates mental clarity and calmness; increases body awareness; relieves chronic stress patterns; relaxes the mind; centres attention; and sharpens concentration,”. I highly recommend this course https://maharishiyogapeeth.com/ , it will help you start practising yoga professionally.

This kind of massage will be useful for you in any season of the year. In ordinary life, it is very difficult to completely relax: during a massage, every cell of the body rests, so that later it can work with new strength. Body massages and facial massages in Lithuania are exactly what became the best discovery for me at the time. I advise you to find out more information about the features and services of the Aurumcentras massage center.
