Actors like Shahid Kapoor has started including this workout in his schedule as a part of his fitness regime. It is the warrior workout that involves swords to make it the ninja workout where you get to embrace your inner fighter and smash those calories with the swipe of the wooden sword.

  1. They’re trying to teach suburi. You cut with the whole body. It is simultaneously forging body and mind. Tanren. How you hold the Japanese sword is very important, as every subtle change in grip affects the whole body.

    Judging by the pictures, you should join and support an actual sword dojo where they will teach you correctly, rather than the Spandex class du jour.

    Btw, this practice as described in the article and practiced by this organisation has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with aikijujutsu.
